Innergas
lnnergas is a system which has inert gas (nitrogen or carbon dioxide) introduced into the tank, eliminating the oxidation of wine by avoiding its contact with the atmosphere. There is a two-way safety valve mounted on the safety group, and it guarantees pressure stability for the entire system and of the single tanks. The inert-gas system allows the use of a tank as a normal Semprepieno.
How it works
Using a two-times-reduced control panel (2) inert gas is emitted into the tank with a pressure of 20 MB. Inside the tank, the gas, which is always present, substitutes the air also during liquid movement. The two-way stainless-steel safety valve (4) guarantees pressure stability of the system and of the individual tanks.
Tank with a minimum capacity of 60 hl with connection to the safety-system installation basis, with valve for recuperating gases. (The system is designed to recuperate gases during liquid-transfer phases).
Inert gasses
NITROGEN This is a colorless gas, without taste or smell, and which is non-toxic. Furthermore, it is totally inert and constitutes 78% of the atmosphere.
CARBON DIOXIDE Also this gas composes the atmosphere; it is inert and soluble in liquids.
STAINLESS-STEEL VALVE: 2-way, Ø 40 mm, can be dismantled, with 2 over-pressure/under pressure plates, and with « o-ring» made of non-stick Waiton or Teflon.
GAS SAFETY SYSTEM: with stainless-steel valve, exclusion valve made of chrome-plated bronze, rubber support and tube support made of Ø 30 mm reinforced PVC for connection
CENTRAL MANHOLE: neck height 100 mm, flag-type cover, 4 foldable handles, Ø 40 connection on neck, access for safety system.
