Transtank
Transtank cylindrical tanks are designed to transport liquids on trucks, trailers, railroad wagons or ferries. They comply with the maximum dimensions set by the highway code and can be installed in fixed, interchangeable or mobile layouts. Each tank is made entirely out of AISI 304/316L stainless steel with standard tapered or elliptical type “D” dished bottoms. Special shapes can be made on request such as custom size containers equipped with frame for handling by fork lift or overhead travelling crane and with capacities up to 330 hectolitres. All transport tanks are manufactured with our exclusive anti rupture system composed of an independent self-supporting stainless steel frame. The tank is anchored using adjustable stainless steel straps and rests on a rubber-lined saddle to eliminate vibrations during transportation and structural fatigue due to strong vibrations caused by rough roads and which can cause tank welds to break. Bottoms are pressed enbloc with large rounded edges to give more strength to the entire tank. All tanks are provided with dia. 400/500/600 mm high neck cover and hinged cover with wind-protection opening, double acting air relief valve and total discharge valve of the desired type and diameter. Tank interiors are “BA” food grade mirror-finish polished with flat circular, laminated, rolled, shaved and polished welds. The outer surfaces of the tank are patterned with standard satin-finish welds. In the case of multi-compartment tanks, the bottoms and counter bottoms which form the inner partitions are made with large welded edges to increase strength and permit careful cleaning (even in parts that are hard to get at). Our products adapt to your requirements and your products, whether they are foodstuffs perishables, concentrates with increased specific weights, chemical toxic/noxious products, pharmaceuticals. ACCESSOIRES AND FINISHES
All tanks may be provided with thermal conditioning double walls that use circulating hot/cold fluids or electric heating coils, that immerge directly in the fluid or in a double wall in a bain-marie. They can be totally insulated with 40/80 mm thick rock wool mattress for hot liquid and with sealed external stainless steel shell and injected polyurethane for cold liquid, equipped with stainless steel double door on the cover. They can include, as accessories, a temperature thermometer, a probe connection, a loading and drain butterfly or ball valve, loading tubes, headers for connecting the drains with removable stainless steel valves, inner wave breaker food grade partitions, fixed washing system from above, fixed or mobile stirrers, slow central vertical stirrers or inclines lateral fast stirrers, powered by 380V or 24V, to mix products or keep them in suspension. We can provide the tank mounted on the trailer-truck and fully certified, complete with tubes, valves and vacuum pump made of stainless steel, control board, tank designed to operate with vacuum using vacuum pump that sucks up delicate or perishable products or pressurized tanks with PED testing. On request we manufacture certified “mobile” tanks that are insulated and thermally conditioned, complete with inner partitions, stirrers, control boards, liter meters with sampling device, fixed or mobile refrigeration unit, heating using independent heating coils or hot eater/steam, can be designed for CO2 or nitrogen inertizing system, trapezoid-profiled aluminium walkways fastened on the platform around the tank, fixed catwalks above or on t he sides of the tank with trapezoid-profiled aluminium plate and antislip edges, tilting stainless steel safety railings, stainless steel access ladders, BA mirror polished external insulation shell on request.
